The other day I was listening to an interview with an actress,
and she quoted an invocation to the Supreme that struck me to the core
These are the words:
"Give me wisdom - not to try to change what I cannot change.....
Give me the courage to change what I can change
And give me the foresight to tell one from the other."
I think that's amazingly accurate
Simple. Deep. Strong
And so applicable to any period of our lives
The actress couldn't remember who wrote those words
