The warranty company gave me the option of having the part rebuilt and spend another 3+ weeks without a fridge in hopes they actually can rebuild the part OR they can reimburse me $475 if I buy a new fridge. The current fridge is apparently 18 years old (I was told 8 when I bought the place) and I don't want to risk it dying again, so I decided to go with the reimbursement. I'd like to buy a nice fridge that I can either move with me eventually or help increase the resale value of my condo. So if you guys want to help me buy a nice new fridge, that'd be awesome! And if you're into fridges, maybe I can take some naughty new fridge nudes for you??? 😂 Also, I do not recommend paying for American Home Shield ever. They're horrible.
