JUST LIKE MOM MADE ep 1: How to Make Flank Steak and Napa Cabbage Salad! Everything that COULD go wrong, DID go wrong. Full recipes below if you want to give it a go: RECIPES Marinated Flank Steak 1.5-2lbs Flank Steak 1-1/2 cup salad oil 3/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce 2 TBSP dried mustard 2 tsp salt 2 tsp coarse black pepper 1/2 cup red wine vinegar (I used cider vinegar by mistake in the video. It was fine. But use red wine vinegar.) 2 tsp parsley 2 cloves garlic (crushed) 1/3 cup lemon juice Pierce steak several times on Bothe sides. Mix all ingredients pour over steak in a ziplock bag or in a 9x13 pan. Marinate for 2 hours minimum. The longer you marinate the steak the better it will taste. Broil or grill till desired doneness. (I suggest 4 minutes on each side) Let steak rest for 5-10 minutes. Slice in thin strips against the grain. Serve. Napa Salad Salad 1 large head of Chinese/Napa Cabbage (chopped) 3 Green onions 2 Packs of Ramen Noodles (crushed) 1/2 cup sesame seeds. 1/4 cup slivered almonds 55 g of butter Dressing 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup cider vinegar 2 tsp soy sauce Brown noodles, almonds, & sesame seeds in butter. Stir frequently. Let cool COMPLETELY. Chop cabbage. Thinly slice green onions. Use green bits too. Combine in bowl. Add all salad dressing ingredients in a jar. Shake well and chill. Pour over salad at least 20 minutes before serving.
